Essential track renewal work will affect train services between Swindon and Gloucester from Tuesday 26 August to Saturday 30 August. As a result, no trains will stop at Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse to allow Network Rail engineers to work safely.
A replacement bus service will be provided, with services stopping by the Town Hall in Stonehouse High Street instead of the station.
Trains will still run between London Paddington and Bristol/South Wales via Swindon as well as Bristol Parkway and Gloucester/Cheltenham Spa. There will also be some direct trains between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa.
All changes have been uploaded into online journey planners and GWR are also making customers aware at stations and on board through announcements, station posters, and both traditional and social media. For more information please visit gwr.com/upgrade.
