Hope for Tomorrow

Hope for Tomorrow is a pioneering cancer care charity with its head office in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The charity provides cancer patients throughout the country with a more convenient and easily accessible method of receiving vital care by fundraising for and providing state-of-the-art mobile cancer care units to NHS trust partners, enabling them to deliver cancer care closer to patients. Receiving cancer care on board their local mobile unit saves patients time, money, and reduces their costs and anxiety during an already difficult period. Each unit is operated by a mobile unit driver and two dedicated NHS nurses who provide the same great care that patients would receive in hospital, in a more comfortable and more relaxed environment on board the mobile unit.

With no government funding, the charity relies on the continued generosity of supporters to keep its fleet of mobile cancer care units on the road, bringing cancer services closer to the patients that need them across the country.

The charity’s local mobile cancer care unit, ‘Helen’ is based at Gloucester Royal Hospital and visits community locations in Stroud, and Cinderford to make cancer care more convenient for patients in the area.
