D-Day80 Lighting The Beacon of Peace

The Beacon of Peace will be lit on the green alongside the reading of the official Tribute
To mark the 80th anniversary of the audacious D-Day Landings on 6th June 1944, the Royal British Legion: Stonehouse & District Branch in co-operation with Stonehouse Town Council is holding a series of events on Stonehouse Memorial Green, everyone is welcome to come along and join in.
Please come along and help us mark the bravery of those who participated in the landings, which ultimately led to the liberation of Europe in less than 12 months from the landings.
