DESCRIPTION:The Festival includes a wide variety of guided walks for all ages and abilities – and it’s free! The walks on offer range from short walks and strolls\, to day-long hikes for fitter walkers. There may also be a boat trip suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. In addition there will be walks with added special interests including family fun\, history\, canal and trees. \nStonehouse town is an ideal base for exploring this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pathways including the Cotswold Way lead in all directions across fields\, through woodlands\, along canal\, river and rail trails\, and onto rolling countryside\, hills and valleys. Panoramic views can be enjoyed all around\, including across to the Severn valley and beyond. \nJoin us for the walking festival. DESCRIPTION:Afternoon Tea\nSunday 14th September 2 – 5pm\nIn The Library (change of venue due to bad weather forecast) \nTo coincide with the end of the day’s walks and start of the Stonehouse Walking Festival’ Festival Finale’ Walk at 5pm. Why not fuel up on tea and cake if participating\, or just indulge in some if you are not! \nPlease come and join us for some tasty cakes\, refreshments and live music from The Klarinets\, all in aid of Stonehouse in Bloom. Keeping our green-fingers crossed for not really wet weather. \nYou’ll also be able to buy some of our fabulous SIB cards (Spring and Summer sets for £5/pack – great as gifts).\nParking available in the main High Street car park\, although we encourage you to take public transport where viable. Public toilets are also within the car park and Library. The Library is wheelchair/mobility scooter accessible. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
