SUMMARY:Street Art Day - Sun Days at the Ship
DESCRIPTION:We’re all set for a brilliant day of creativity and community. Artists from Stonehouse and beyond—including illustrators\, studio artists\, and street artists — we can’t wait to see what they create! \nThe event is spread over two locations; our main location is the Ship Inn Community Space where we have local artists Tim Woolner\, Marcus Walters\, Charlotte Aitken\, Nadine James\, Noelle Bewry James. Then we also have the site at Stonehouse Town Car Park where we have Sepr\, 45rpm\, Lila Butcher\, Liv Clark and Stroud Painters Co-operative. \nThe weather’s looking hot\, so ditch the sticky house and come cool off under the trees by the canal. There will be a BBQ and Bar\, kids activities\, music and face painting. \nWalk or cycle if you can — bike parking available.\nNo car parking on site.\nCheck out the map to see the locations and how to get between them.

SUMMARY:Stories from The Ship Inn - Sun Days at the Ship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed afternoon celebrating the heritage\, wildlife\, and stories of the Stroudwater Canal and the historic Ship Inn.\nAlthough the Ship Inn was demolished in the 1990s\, it once stood proudly at the corner of Bristol Road and Downton Bridge—an important hub for the local community.
