SUMMARY:D-Day80 Raising of Flag of Peace
DESCRIPTION:The D-Day80 Flag of Peace will be raised by the Wycliffe CCF Cadets to the sound of Reveille\, alongside a reading of the official Proclamation. \nTo mark the 80th anniversary of the audacious D-Day Landings on 6th June 1944\, the Royal British Legion: Stonehouse & District Branch in co-operation with Stonehouse Town Council is holding a series of events on Stonehouse Memorial Green\, everyone is welcome to come along and join in.  \nPlease come along and help us mark the bravery of those who participated in the landings\, which ultimately led to the liberation of Europe in less than 12 months from the landings.
